Mechanical Fitter

ORB Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for a Mechanic to work with our client who specialises in recycling metal, with work taking place in the Port Talbot area (SA10).

Role: Candidates will be have to complete the following tasks;

Maintenance and repairs of shredding and baling plant. This includes hammer mill, conveyors, screeners, baler, dust extraction system.
Maintenance, service and repair of plant equipment. This includes 360 material handlers, loading shovels, telehandlers.

Requirements: To be considered for this role candidates will need to show the following;

Knowledge of hydraulics, basic electrical systems, and engines (ability to perform a service and fault tracing).
Welding and cutting experience required
Physically fit.
MUST HAVE OWN TRANSPORT!!!

Pay: £15.50ph to £17.50ph - PAYE

TEMP TO PERM ROLE

Hours/Days: The following hours and days are available;

Days whilst training around 1-2 weeks hours will be Monday to Friday 7am-5pm @ £15.50 per hour.
AFTER TRAINING
Nights Sunday to Thursday 6pm-6am @ £17.50 per hour
